Laureates of international competitions return to Scotland after nine years. The duo performed at the Aberdeen International Youth Festival, during which they won the chamber music competition and performed in the best halls of Aberdeen. Michael Romanychev on balalaika and Fedor Romanychev on piano create a harmonious fusion that transcends cultural boundaries and delights listeners of all ages. The concert programme includes arrangements of Russian folk songs, transcriptions of classical music and modern works for balalaika and piano. The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
