Philomusica of Edinburgh make a welcome return to the wonderful acoustic venue St Mark's Unitarian Church, where they were regular performers in the 1980s and 1990s. The programme consists of three of JS Bach's most popular instrumental works: Brandenburg Concerto No 3, which is for a 10-part string orchestra, No 4 which features solo violin and two solo flutes and No 5 where the strings are joined by violin, flute and piano. Soloists are Lawrence Dunn (director) " violin, Katharine Wake and Stella Henzel " flutes, and Gilmour Macleod " piano.
