A solo exhibition of original paintings and sketches by Augusta Maclean, an up-and-coming Scottish artist who splits her time between Edinburgh and the Highlands. With the use of thick acrylic layers, Augusta shapes abstract Scottish land and seascapes, which tend to be moody and distinctive. Palette knives and brushes are manipulated to create Augusta's work, which is inspired by her own recollections and impressions, coming to light through her use of found objects, sketches, photography and painting to create different forms of landscapes.
