Firsthand is an audiovisual artwork " an outcome of residency by artists Marta Adamowicz and Robert Motyka on the concept of home through the connections with the remembered and actual place. They edited images and interviews with Polish immigrants into a spectacular experience where sound and animation tell very personal stories of identity and belonging. The presentation will be followed by a discussion, gaining more relevance in the light of the war in Ukraine and refugee action in Polish borderlands. The artwork is in the Polish language with English subtitles and Polish pastries.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
