A short play for two humans and two robots. Late at night in a laboratory, the night before testing day. Two humanoid robots accidentally come to life. As they explore their new-found faculties, discovering their limbs and their surroundings, they learn more and more how to be human. But when their creators discover them awake, how will the robots match up to their human counterparts? This imaginative new play explores the curiosity and joy of being alive. At once thoughtful and fun, An Unexpected Electric Nativity promises a touching and joyous exploration of life and humanity.
