Moving beyond representation to embody only experience, Amongst Millions is a ritualistic work in which the body is used as a vehicle for protest against the injustice and hypocrisy resulting from the current social and economic crisis. In this critical and uncompromising performance, the educated and civilized body is suppressed from the stage revealing a vulnerable body struggling with the intensity and adversities of existence. Clercs original composition creates an immersive sonic environment where spectator and performer share a common vibrating womb. Amongst Millions exerts a hypnotic pull and must be experienced (Eva Yaa Asantewaa, New York critic).
