National treasures Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham bring their trademark blend of great music and good humour to The Hub.

Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham epitomise the best of traditional music, described by producer Mike Russell as probably the best traditional musicians you are ever likely to hear. Having toured together since 1986 performing to packed concert halls all over the world, the award-winning pair have both received MBEs for their service to music.

Aly Bain is the best-known fiddle player in the Celtic tradition. In 2013 he received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Bain also launched the popular BBC TV series Transatlantic Sessions, in which he and Cunningham appear. Accordion player and composer Phil Cunningham has been named as one of Scotlands 25 most influential people and has worked with the likes of Mark Knopfler, James Taylor and Rosanne Cash.

The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
