Mario Morris presents his comedy magic show, the All Human One Magic Show at Zoo Southside. He describes it as a non-patronising family magic show, and provides just that.
My thoughts on this show benefit from my 8-year old co-critic Andrews views. We were both slightly nervous. Andrew because hes never seen a live magic show before, and me because I have. We need not have worried as this was a skilful, humorous performance ranging from sideshow skills to escapology. Morris involves the children and adults in the show, and even runs the risk of having the show stolen by some particularly excellent young assistants.
While the tricks will not surprise too many adults, the kids love them. It is an excellent, good value option for those seeking some family friendly entertainment which leaves the kids cheering, as promised. And promised the mind reading wooden duck even turns up trumps.
A show that delivers exactly what it set out to. You cant ask for more than that.
