In this adaptation by playwright Laura Wade, follow Alice as she escapes her bedroom to find adventure in a topsy-turvy world. Based on Lewis Carrolls classic tale, Wades adaptation breathes fresh life into a much-loved story about rabbit holes, pocket watches and talking caterpillars.THE MILL ON THE FLOSS by Helen Edmundson, directed by Ellie Jones at 1pm on the 31st July, 2nd August, 4pm on the 1st and 3rd of August.A re-invention of George Eliot's classic story of loss, tragedy and the relentless nature of fate. Outgrowing - but still hopelessly devoted to - her family, Maggie befriends Phillip Wakem, son of a local lawyer. But their fathers become embroiled in a bitter legal dispute that only the prosperous Wakem can win, and the Tullivers find fate dealing them the first harsh hand of many. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society.
