From its earliest known existence pre-1700s through to the golden age of 18th-century masters Niel Gow and William Marshall, onto the 19th century and beyond, the fiddle in Scotland continues to hold a special place in the hearts of music lovers. Gaelic language, piping and stylistic contrasts of the varying geographical landscapes create a diverse historical picture. One of Scotland's leading fiddle exponents performs melodies alongside Gregor Blamey on piano/accordion, with a specially written script read by legendary actor John Shedden. Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
