This quirky little improv show offers a great deal at an odd time of night. Based in theSpace at North Bridge the traditional improv show follows the premise that an item of clothing must be removed every time they get something wrong. Hilarity ensues.
A particular favourite was an actor named Harry - his intelligent and witty interjections were the bedrock of the show. He unapologetically stoked the proverbial fire that was the bawdy atmosphere of the room; What really set this show apart were the late night pissed up punters.
Although the compere struggled with the audience as much as one would trying to secure the last lifejacket on the Titanic, the show continued. Some suggestions left him stumped and led to poor jokes and sketches. Others were pure gold, 'dogging' proving a particular favourite. It is this rag tag nature of the show that makes the audience feel like they are in control. They can do anything, shout any suggestion, and they like that.
This really is a gem - although it is perhaps not worth the ticket price you would be hard pressed to find a more entertaining set of buttocks on an ed fringe evening. Get a pint in your hand before you go though.
