About the Unsaid
  • Edinburgh Fringe

This touching new musical explores the interior monologues of three interconnected characters through acoustic songs, focusing on their lack of communication and the difference between what they think and say. Genuine, heartfelt and boldly thought-provoking. About the Unsaid is a daring fusion of folk genres and musical theatre that examines universally timeless dilemmas in relationships. Written by Maria Shepard, the composer of acclaimed student musical Anna Karenina, which performed to a sell-out run at Oxford University in February 2017. Some of her songs can be found on Facebook.
