John Hastings Audacity. One man. One mic. All jokes. Some about love, others about poo. We fired over a Q&A to get more info.
Q: If you weren’t a performer, what would you be? A: A reviewer?
Hi John, tell me about your show.
It's all the shit (get it) I have done or changed in the last year.
What does Edinburgh mean to you?
It's summer camp for comedians with a touch of exams. I am stoked and I am nervous and I am looking forward to sitting in the meadows.
Who inspires you and why?
I don’t know sometimes my friends. Sometimes it's a wrestler’s promo. Sometimes the fairies whisper in my ears.
Describe your best or worst experiences on stage.
Best is corners and moments of every show. The worst is in the show and so y'all should see it.
Describe your best or worst review.
I have not ever read them. I am really sorry and I know I should now go read them but I really get sensitive about it.
If you weren’t a performer, what would you be?
What was the last book you read?
Hepatitis Bathtub by nofx
Coke or Pepsi?
I don't do drugs.
Imagine that the BBC have asked you to produce a primetime show. What would it be and who else would be involved
My friend Paul Bryne makes fun of people while they answer quiz questions. It will be great. It will get made.
