Charlie Payne is a Family Coordinator for Home Start, a national charity which offers support to families with young children. She helps families who are struggling to develop their own coping strategies and resources. Charlie helped found of The Maple Tree children’s centre charity, has mentored pupils at primary and secondary schools and is trained as a counsellor and Mental Health First Aider. She was also was one of the lead organisers of the Save Oxfordshire's Children's Centres Campaign, which achieved national headlines. Charlie has a passion for neurodiversity in all its forms and believes we all think and feel differently. She believes our challenge is to understand and accept our differences and those of others. In her spare time she likes to read, be around nature and have adventures with her own neuro-diverse family.
