Brave New Worlds is a design-led performance collective from the UK and Lithuania, founded by award-winning theatre maker and performer Valentina Ceschi (Dancing Brick), visual artist Guoda Jaruseviciute and pioneering British costume designer Kate Lane. In collaboration with other artists, they investigate design as a live art form with strong narrative potential, creating performances instigated by visual concepts. Trinity explores the iconification of the female form, from the Venus of Willendorf to the Virgin Mary via renaissance art and pop culture. A visceral feast for the senses that questions gender and otherness with sound by Demetrio Castellucci.
