A reimagining of L. Frank Baum's world, James Ortiz's movement piece with puppets tells the Tin Man's back story - how a regular human came to be a rusting pile of metal in need of a heart. With music by Edward W. Hardy, this largely wordless production by Strangemen & Co. has much to recommend it, and one significant flaw: The storytelling isn't as clear as it needs to be (1:00).
