Martin Blank's political thriller is inspired by the real-life case of Jonathan Pollard, the American intelligence analyst who spied for Israel in the 1980s. Elise Thoron's sleek staging accentuates the tension between Mr. Pollard's life as an American Jew and his dream of a life in Israel, but his passion is harder to locate. The spy turns out to be the least likable and human of the play's characters (1:20).
