The decadence and debauchery of turn-of-the-century Paris provided a rich setting for Baz Luhrmann's wildly inspired 2001 film, "Moulin Rouge." In 2009, this company loosely adapted the premise to the stage and has toured it since. For one night only, that production comes to the cinema in all its Technicolor glory. The romantic-tragedy remains, but Mr. Luhrmann's ingenious pop score has been replaced by French period music.
