The show follows up on No Redemption Songs (Fringe sell-out 2014 and 2015) and tells the story of the former mining village of Horden, Co Durham, in the years since the miner's strike and the pit's closure. Sold out by the housing association, houses stand empty and boarded up, social problems abound, but the people fight on. A new set of songs by Brenda Heslop, performed by Ribbon Road with films by Carl Joyce, paint a picture of the results of Thatcher's revenge on the miners, austerity and the continued attack on the working class.
