Anyone who's been even close to Edinburgh in August will have heard of Newsrevue. It's mentioned in conversations such as What will you be seeing apart from Newsrevue?
After 27 years of practise, it's easy to see why they know this format so well. Satirical songs of current affairs is their speciality, and this year the common themes predictably include terrorism, the world cup and John Prescot.
Of course it's all very un-PC, and there's something likely to offend at every hair-pin bend. Perhaps this years' cast aren't quite as sharp as last year, but they still deliver a fast-paced show, overflowing with political and news-related comedy. The lyrics to their songs should be classified as a weapon of mass destruction.
