The American mathematician Claude Shannon is often referred to as the father of the electronic communication age - he helped lay the foundation for the computer revolution. Now he's the inspiration behind "For Claude Shannon," a work by Liz Santoro, who has studied neurosciences, and Pierre Godard, who has a master's degree in applied math. Using a complicated linguistic formula, the duo created a movement lexicon with almost limitless possibilities, which their dancers consult and respond to for each performance.
