In this weird and wonderful adaptation of this mournful legend, Eurydice is presented by concentrating not on the passionate pilgrimage of Orpheus to retrieve his bride but on Eurydices descent into the jaws of death. What she finds there, and what she learns about love, loss and the pleasures and pains of memory, is the subject of this tender-hearted comedy. This rhapsodically beautiful production is staged by Grapple Theatre, who return to the Fringe following years of successful performances.
