Bob Slayer invites his audience to come play board games aboard the top floor of the fun-spurring remodelled double-decker Blundabus, affectionately named
An enjoyable experience and interesting in that the board games and guest comedians change daily, making every show a unique new experience.
After a rather shambolic start which no one seems to mind, the duo ask the audience what they want to play. Connect Four is finally decided on and full audience participation is encouraged as tension and competition build in the room. Oftentimes, this energy seems to overpower the comedians and more time than expected is spent actually playing the board games, since the the audience is full of people who want to have a say and get involved.
Overall, this show is great for exactly what it is: watching comedians play board games. However, there are just as many jokes made by the comics as by the audience themselves, so a rowdy bunch of friends and front-row seats are recommended for maximum laughter. While on the surface, it seems a bit boring and lacking in actual “comedy,” it is an overall enjoyable experience and interesting in that the board games and guest comedians change daily, making every show a unique new experience.
