Chris Dugdale: More Magic and Mischief

If you are someone that enjoys magic in its more basic, “no frills” form, like sleight-of-hand tricks and close-up magic, you can’t go wrong with this show. Though its origins are in the more classic school of magic, there is so much more to it than first meets the eye.

The show initially starts off slowly, with the standard magician fare, but with each trick that passes, it becomes clear that Dugdale has a lot more up his sleeve.

More Magic and Mischief is a gasp-inducing hour of mind-blowing magic tricks and baffling illusions by award-winning international magician, Chris Dugdale. Avid magic fans may remember him if they watched the 2011 magic competition Penn & Teller: Fool Us.

The show initially starts off slowly, with the standard magician fare, but with each trick that passes, it becomes clear that Dugdale has a lot more up his sleeve. Throughout the hour, he performs the impossible, from guessing words seemingly just plucked out from audience member’s heads to subtle blink-and-you’ll-miss-it tricks involving coins and cards.

Dugdale is a charming, captivating showman and a natural entertainer who will keep you enthralled from start to finish. The buildup of each trick and the tension that ensues is just as important as the payoff: he does this masterfully. His skill and prowess as an illusionist is truly astonishing and even if you don’t impress easily, I daresay his closing trick will have you absolutely dumbfounded.

More Magic and Mischief has a touch of Vegas flair and is likely to leave you utterly floored. Chris Dugdale takes time to prove his absolute mastery of his craft, but eventually he will have you spellbound in anticipation, excitement and wonderment.
