Brazil and bratwurst, Bach and potatoes are among the unlikely pairings in this festival, which sparkles with invention. Highlights include a family workshop on June 7 at 10:30 a.m. on German music and cooking, and a performance, June 10 at 7:30 p.m., featuring Stuttgart's preeminent boys' choir, Collegium Iuvenum, and the genre-bending Sirius Quartet of Baroque, Romantic and contemporary music. (Both events are at St. Paul's German Lutheran Church, 315 West 22nd Street, Chelsea.) The music of C.P.E. Bach also figures prominently in the festival program. A schedule is at chelseamusicfestival.org.
