This festival enlightens audiences to the Mediterranean region's growing contemporary arts scene. On the dance docket is "What Dreams May Come," by the Turkish choreographer Nejla Y. Yatkin, exploring the interconnection of East and West, which her continent-straddling country knows something about. (It will be performed July 22 and July 25 at 8 p.m. and July 27 at 8:30 p.m.) There is also "Aragosta (Lobster)" by Asmed-Balletto Teatro di Sardegna, inspired by the Italian stylist Elsa Schiaparelli, on July 22 at 8 p.m. and July 24 at 7 p.m. Mershiha Mesihovic and Circuit Debris will round out the week, performing "I Am" (on July 24 at 7 p.m.) and "Dissonance" (July 25 at 8 p.m. and July 27 at 8:30 p.m.).
