Richard is sent to another fabulous new bar with an amazing view over the city. Formerly Stocks wine bar it’s only been open under Jamie MacDonald, formerly of Raconteur in Stockbridge, for around four months. Behind the bar was Euan.

Name: Euan Halliday

Age: 33

Bar: TBD|The Black Dahlia

Background: Born in Newcastle upon Tyne and then went to university in Glasgow, from which he dropped out and returned home. He started bartending, got into cocktails and then moved to Edinburgh six years ago where he has worked in various bars such as Lucky Liquor.

Ambition: To learn all he can in his current position from being part of a new endeavour and ultimately open his own bar.

Favourite Drink: Shake (American Whisky Daiquiri)

The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
